Dr Sanjeev earned to his credit over 40 years hard core professional experience I corporate sector starting his stint as Accounts Assistant in 1975 to Executive Director in 2015 and thereafter as Chairman & Managing Director and Advocate in Supreme Court of India.

Corporate Experience

  • His corporate experience encompasses over 35 years’ rich experience in the field of corporate law and finance, business and economic laws, company law, corporate finance, corporate affairs, merchant banking, capital market, mutual funds, general management, project management  etc.
  • He was associated as Executive Director-Corporate and Legal Affairs with Bajaj Hindusthan  Sugar Ltd., the largest manufacturers of sugar and ethanol in the country (4th largest in the world), as In-charge of Group’s Corporate and Legal Affairs for more than 15 years.
  • Prior to that, Vice President (Legal) and Company Secretary of HB Stockholdings Ltd. for about 11 years as In charge of Group’s Corporate and Legal Affairs and experienced in securities market, mutual fund, merchant banking, corporate laws and general legal affairs. 
  • He is Independent Director on the Board of Directors of the Companies of various Corporate Groups.

  • He has handled more than 5000 cases of various nature/laws viz. Constitution of India, Civil Law, Criminal Law, Corporate Laws, Securities Laws, Economic Laws, Sugar Law, Indirect Tax Laws, Energy Laws, Environmental Laws, Competition Law, Property Laws etc.
  • He has also handled/ handling cases before Supreme Court of India, Various High Courts, District Courts, Civil and Criminal Trial Courts, CLB, Tribunals, Consumer Forums and Adjudicating Authorities etc. under various Laws.
    • He has rich exposure/experience in the matters/laws related to properties, RERA, Due Diligence, Engineering Procurement and Construction (EPC) Contracts related to Infrastructure projects, Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs), Regulatory Petitions, and allied documentations, SEBI & Corporate Laws, Corporate Mergers, Restructuring and Acquisitions, Company law & procedure etc.
