Dr. Sanjeev was born in Kanpur (UP) on February 4, 1960 (His DOB on record is January, 5 1959).
His present address is of San Antonio, TX 78230 (USA) and also of Noida 201301 (India).
His father was a college Lecturer of Ancient Indian History and his mother was a Scholar, who was keen on literature, music, art, and astrology. He hails from a simple family .
His childhood was spent in his hometown and that is why he felt so strongly connected to nature and simple life. He attained so much of his energy from almighty nature.
Dr Sanjeev has a different array of qualifications. He holds the highest academic degree of Ph.D.& D.Lit. He also holds a degree and is Alumni of the Topmost Ranked University of the world – Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Boston (USA)
He has big stint in research not only as a Research Scholar, but also as Research Supervisor of Ph.D.
Dr Sanjeev earned to his credit over 40 years hard core professional experience in corporate sector starting his stint as Accounts Assistant in 1975 to Executive Director in 2015 and thereafter as Chairman & Managing Director of India Netbooks Pvt Ltd. besides an Advocate in the Supreme Court of India.
Dr. Sanjeev Kumar is a well-known name in contemporary Hindi Literature as well, He started writing since 11 October 1973 but his first poem was published Ritambhara in 1976. Since then, he has written 296 books in different genre, which is a World Record.
He is not only a distinct and distinguished name, but he is an honoured personality as well. He has been conferred with more than 50 AWARDS & HONOURS and a World Record as well.
A Soul dedicated for HINDI
Dr Sanjeev Kumar is a dedicated person for Promotion of Hindi throughout the world. His numerous and all round efforts can be briefed as follows:
- He has himself written 296 Books iincluding 41 books in law which is a world record.
- He has set up a Global Network named“HINDI KI DUNIYA” under the auspices of “Antar-Rashtriya Vama Sanskriti avam Sahitya Academy” (in short called “Vama Academy” or “AVSA”) which has 41 branches/Units in India and 40 Units in about 35 countries. AVSA is engaged in promotion of Hindi through a variety of Activities like workshops, discussions, book review, interviews of authors, goshthi- reading & recital sessions and many more.
- He has set up an online School for teaching Hindi to non-Hindi speaking people through the website namely, ”Indianetschool.com”
- He has set up a Program for enhancing the quality of libraries by providing books free of cost. Up till now he has sent nearly 7500 books to about 120 libraries directly as well as through government academies and through NGOs.
- He has provided Book Publication Services to more than 700 Authors in India and abroad (covering countries like Australia, United Kingdom, Netherland, Norway,, Nigeria, Turkey etc.)
- He provides special publication grants through BPA Foundation for Books translated into Hindi from other Indian languages.
- He is also publishing 3 Magazines: Anuswar-A literary magazine, Katha Bimb- A story focused magazine for Hindi Story writing and Vidhi Nayak-a legal magazine in Hindi
- He has set up Anuswar Manch on which, inter alia, the interview of Hindi Authors is taken in video form and presented under the channel “India Netbooks” on Youtube. More than 150 of such interviews are presented. Videos of kavya path and other programs are also presented. In addition to this more than 100 interviews are printed under two titles-“Idam na mum” and “yathavat”.
- He has also set up Anuswar Bal Sangman to facilitate interaction between and with Bal Sahityakars and children. He has written about 39 children’s books and edited books including folk stories and has also published more than 75 more titles working with JLN Bal Sahitya Academy in joint venture.
- He has also set up Pravasi Sahitya Sangaman for interaction with and between Pravasi Bhartiya on various levels. He has published a book “Panchhi Mere Desh Ke,” which is a collection of poems of various Pravasis in different countries.
- He has also set up publishing a Research Journal namely INB Research Journal primarily to publish research papers of researchers after review.
